Progress of The School  



Pleasant Good Morning to one and all!

I deem it as a privilege to present the Progress of our School for the session (2017-18) till date.

  • On June 1st School reopened for Teachers on a positive note. All the Staff Members took part in HAVAN performed by our Dharma Shikshak and seeked the blessings of almighty. 
  • On June 3rd AISSE – 2017 results were declared by the CBSE Board. This year also our results were encouraging with 100% pass percentage, where 9 students out of 47 scored 10/10 CGPA and our Class Average stands at 9.11.       
  • On 5th and 6th June 2017 Capacity Building Workshop’s in all the core subjects were organized in D.A.V Telangana Zone – Nodal Center, Safilguda, for all our teachers in various subjects. They took part proactively in all the sessions and got immensely benefited.           
  • Though World Environment Day was on June 5th officially we celebrated with staff and students on June 7th in school premises.  Secondary School students showed proactive participation. House Wise Bulletin Board Competitions were organized for classes 8th – 10th on the Theme “Nurture Environment”.         
  • On June 12TH Student’s Council Elections were held in school premises for session 2017-18. 9th and 10th class Contestants proactively read out their Agendas. Students from classes 6th – 10th along with Teachers and Support Staff exercised their Vote Power and selected their Leaders for the Session. Social Department came forward and delegated the tasks to students and entire Elections were organized by students only in a planned way.
  • On June 17th proposal for starting 11th Class for the next session was again forwarded to Chairman Sir. He gave green signal and said he will talk to Dr. B. Parthasaradhi Reddy for raising funds towards Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics Labs. S.S.I.T Management showed disinterest to start Biology group and gave preference to Computers Group along with Maths and Science.
  • The international yoga day was celebrated on 21st June to bring peace, harmony, happiness and success to every soul in our school premises. The students of classes III to X with the teachers performed yoga between 8:00 am to 10:00 am. Different yoga postures like Vikrashana, Uttaanaasana, Bhujangasana, which ended with Pranayama and Meditation.
  • On 1st of July 2017 Capacity Building Workshop for teachers (HOD’S) in all the core subjects of 10th class was held in D.A.V Telangana Zone – Nodal Center, Safilguda. Full length discussion and framing of Blue Print’s, Question Paper Weight age for each Lesson, Syllabus Division and Marking Scheme designing was worked out under the supervision of Senior Principals of DAV Telangana Zone. Our Staff took part proactively in all the sessions and got immensely benefited.
  • On 15th and 16th July 2017 Capacity Building Workshop in Mathematics, Science and Information Technology was organized in D.A.V South Zone – II Nodal Center, Vijayawada, for our teachers. Our faculty showed whole hearted participation though majority of the content was beneficial for State Board Schools and we had very limited take away from Workshop.
  • In the month of July Director of Memory Maths Academic Shri. CH. VENKATESWARA RAO visited our school and trained Mathematics teachers on Effective Implementation of Abacus Methodologies, Strategies, Vedic Maths and Reasoning.
  •   On 21st and 22nd July 2017 Capacity Building Workshop under the Theme “Classroom Management was organized by CBSE Centre of Excellence, Kakinada, 50 Teachers comprising from Our School and JDAV Jaggayapet. They showed active participation in all the sessions and got well trained by the resource persons Shri. E. DANIEL RAJU Joint Secretary CBSE COE Kakinada, Mrs. VISHNU VANDANA and Mrs. LIZZEY BENEDICT.       
  • On 15th August 2017 Independence was celebrated in a grand way. Plethoras of Activities were organized among them mostly appreciated were Demonstration of Culture and Traditions of different states of our Country in front of Chief Guest and the Guest of Honor. And the other being EK PATRA ABHINAYAM  
  • On 19th September 2017 our revered Regional Director Smt. SEETHA KIRAN JI visited School and Inspired Staff and Students with her Valuable Message which focused on enhancing the growth of Institution Qualitatively in all the Areas and at the same time appreciated 10th Class Teachers and Students for their Good Performances in AISSE – 2017 Class X Board exams.                   
  • From 21st September to 29th September 2017 48 Students in Classes (VII – X) along with Escort Teachers went on KERALA Tour which was Historical cum Botanical in every aspect. Students enjoyed a lot and at the same time gathered great learning experience.   
  • On 22nd and 23rd September - 72 children participated in the Mahatma Hansraj National Sports Meet: CLUSTER Level held at DAV Chelpur and bagged Overall Championship Trophy. Two Students (Boys) got selected for National Level Sports Meet.
  • On 3rd October Kalabharathi a renowned Child Art Institute from Aurangabad organized Essay Writing, Calligraphy and Painting Competition for our students. Where they bagged many Prizes in Different Categories. Apart from that we got Active School Award, Active Teacher Award and Dronacharya Award for whole hearted participation.
  • On 26th October and 9th November 2017 totally 108 students were participated in ICT Olympiad Group-I and Group-II organized by DAV Center for Academic Excellence. All the children are participated proactively and some children were got the Certifications.
  • On 29TH October 15th Special Police Battalion conducted Essay Writing, English Elocution, Drawing and Debate events to commemorate and Celebrate Martyrs Day. In that our students proved themselves by bagging the Prizes in Telugu – Essay Writing and English – Elocution.   
  • In the month of November Janavignana Vedika, Telangana zone organised Chakimuki Talent Test to nurture talent of students in Science. Our students got selected for Second Round and represented at Mandal level
  • On 8th and 9th December 2017 with the support of College Management work education programme was organised for 10th class students in Mechanical Workshop on Carpentry, Iron rod lathe peeler and Electrical Appliance Works. Our students got healthy expouser and learnt many tricks of the trade.
  • On 11th December 2017 Smt N. SAROJA Director of iTECH School Solutions, visited with her team and verified the implementation of IT curriculum. She gave good suggestions for implementation to IT teachers particularly how to deal Class Activities (IX & X).
  • On 19th December 2017 Shri. Subramanian Naidu Retired Kendriya Vidalaya Principal and one of the important Resource Person of ACP – Awakened Citizenship Program organised by Ramakrishna Mission in collaboration with CBSE Board, New Delhi, paid a visit to our school to gauge the progress of Middle School Students. He was very much impressed after interacting with students and at the same time he gave some suggestions to Master Trainers of our School Mr. J.Baburao and Ms. M.Rajashri for more effective transactions in future.    
  • On 23rd December 2017 totally 41 students took part in Online DAV Science Olympiad organized by DAV Center for Academic Excellence. We had mixed results with few students bagging Certificates for the same.
  • On 7th and 8th February 2018 Smt. B. JAYALAKSHMI, PRINCIPAL K.V WARANGAL, and Shri G. BRAHMAPUTHRA REDDY, PRINCIPAL JNV, NALGONDA visited our school and conducted Sr. Secondary School Up gradation Inspection. They were very much impressed with school infrastructure and ambience. They verified all the necessary documents, observed teaching classes, attended morning assembly and interacted with students in detail. In the end they were very positive towards college management and DAV Management towards starting Sr. Secondary Classes for students who are coming from remote rural areas.

I profusely thank our Revered Chairman Shri. D. Prabhakar Reddy and L.M.C Member Dr. CH. Vijaya Kumar for their continuous and consistence support towards growth of the school. At the same time I thank Smt. Seetha Kiran Ji our Revered Regional Director - D.A.V Institutions Telangana Zone for inspiring and motivating us from time to time. I also thank my school staff for putting their best efforts for the growth and development of children by supporting management in all the initiatives.
